As well as laying claim to the title of being the original European wine culture, Greece and its islands are home to a wide array of authentic native grape varieties; many of which are still under investigation. What is well understood however is that Greece offers wine drinkers the world-over a diverse and sought after choice of wines to enjoy in numerous settings. In this tasting Demetri Walters MW will be exploring some of the country's most exciting autochthonous varieties and blends, ranging across a latitudinal stretch from Crete and all the way up to the highlands of Macedonia.
