The Circle of Wine Writers have teamed up with Wines of South Africa to present a study of South African Chardonnay from three contrasting wine regions, covering three vintages.

Some of South Africa’s finest Chardonnays will be presented by Andries Burger, cellarmaster, Paul Cluver Wines, Carl van der Merwe, chief executive and cellarmaster, DeMorgenzon Estate and Lia Poveda, global ambassador, Bouchard Finlayson.

The masterclass will demonstrate the diversity of South African Chardonnay, achieved through regionality and winemaking interpretation, with two recent vintages and an older one from the producers’ library stock.
