Loves the Burgundy region, either the Pinot Noir or a Chardonnay, and will never refuse a glass of quality champagne.

Recently sang for both Neil Kinnock and Damian Lewis. The former enjoyed it and the latter endured it. Also, once helped Geri Halliwell (literally) recover from a rather unfortunate wardrobe malfunction on the dancefloor.

Will never say no to a Margaux.

As a youth was a qualified glider pilot, and had a season ticket in casualty for many years as a result of playing rugby.

Favourite wine

Big fan of the highly terroir-expressive Riesling with its seductive balance of fruit and mineral flavours…not to mention it’s potential for evolving into delicious late harvest dessert wine and Eiswein.

A keen artist and supporter of expressions of creative skill and imagination; rates fire eating as her most daring performance art to date… but there’s always tomorrow…!

Favourite wine

A lover of South African Pinotage, but really any big reds!

A relative of Diana, Princess of Wales, Jamie is technically somewhere in line to the throne.

Favourite wine

Usually found sipping on a robust Rioja or two, with some patatas bravas within reach. Equally happy with a steak and a Malbec.

Once toured with early-2000s heart-throbs Busted (on the sound desk, not the guitar).
